Arrest Warrants:
Just before noon Saturday, a 38 year-old Brandon woman attended to BPS and turned herself in on an understanding warrant for arrest for failing to attend for identification. The accused was processed and released from custody to appear in court on January 28th to answer to the charge.
On Saturday evening, a 34 year-old female was located at her residence in the 0-00 block 10th Street and arrested on the strength of two warrants for arrest for failing to attend court, failing to attend for identification, and failing to comply with probation order. She was held in custody to appear for court this morning.
A 55 year-old male was located at the same time as the above female and was also arrested on the strength of a warrant for arrest, coincidentally for the same offences of failing to attend court, failing to attend for identification, and failing to comply with probation order. He too was held in custody to appear for court this morning.
Break & Enter:
A resident in the 500 block 22nd Street reported noticing damage to the walk-through door of the detached garage on their property approximately 8 or 9 days prior but did not report it at that time. On Saturday, the caller noticed several thousand dollars in tools missing and reported the break, enter, and theft. The matter is still under investigation.
Impaired Driver:
Just after 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon, a caller reported that a female driver had backed into his vehicle in the 700 block 18th St. The female exited her vehicle to speak to the caller, and was observed to be intoxicated. The 43 year-old accused was located at her residence a short time later and was taken into custody. She was returned to BPS where she provided breath samples which indicated a blood alcohol level approximately two and a half times greater than the legal limit. She was held in custody to sober up and was later released to appear in court on December 30th.
