Alberta sees 284 new COVID cases Sunday, 11 in Lethbridge – Lethbridge News Now

EDMONTON, AB – Alberta Health Services has released its update on COVID-19 for Sunday, covering statistics compiled over the past 24 hours.

284 cases were confirmed across the province, bringing the total to 128,824. Of those, 5,215 cases are active while 121,829 people have recovered.

In the South Zone, 24 people tested positive with 11 of those in Lethbridge.

Five Albertans died from COVID since Saturday’s update. To date, the virus has claimed the lives of 1,780.
