America’s War on Illegal Migrants and Illicit Drugs have had a settling effect upon Canada’s Criminal Underworld. There was a time when passage of illegal weapons, drugs and even persons went off without a hitch, with 15% of these passages being seized by the Border authority and the RCMP. Now the “catch” rate is much higher and escalating. Illegal weapons and drugs have been hit with seizures both planned and accidental. According to Kelowna News a break and enter call to the Kelowna Police resulted in the seizure of many pounds of Pills, LSD, Weed and Cocaine and the arrest of the criminal entity who claimed most of the drugs were made in Canada. Yes the underworld pivoted on a dime and began to manufacture these substances once imported from America, Mexico and beyond.
This is actually good news for the War on Drugs in Canada. No longer having to deal with international affairs, police forces and American Law Enforcement arrogance, the Canadian Law Enforcement Agencies can now search, seize and destroy the domestic manufacturing, distributing and importing operations. The Carney Government has ensured a positive collective alliance between all Canadian Law enforcement agencies will receive the Federal Governments full support.
Synthetic Drugs are a surge of all global populations. In North America high occurrences of addiction take the lives of many Indigenous, young people and elderly citizens. Drug labs are often created and located within subdivisions, uninhabited buildings and rural locations. The police have interesting ways to find these installations. Odor detection dogs(North America), pigs(France) and chickens too are capable of sensing these contraband. With the assistance of local energy firms police can identify which buildings in a neighborhood use much higher levels of energy(usually used for locating Weed).
The ever present drones are capable of locating heat signatures and visually finding criminal enterprises silently and accurately.
Interpol Europe has expanded its aggressive anti-gang, anti drug programs. Hiring more officers trained in the most recent technologies available. Todays anti narcotics agencies often appear to be para military operators, fully armed and trained as soldiers fighting for the lives of their fellow citizens. Ronald Reagans War on Drugs never ended folks, it took a political hiatus only to return full circle with a Republican administration at hand. Americas seizure of Venezuela’s Nicholas Maduro was a step in this war. Venezuela’s regime was being used by South American Cartels as a place of distribution, manufacturing and exporting illegal drugs straight into America. Bolivia, Columbia, Brazil and even far off Afghanistan need watch out for North America’s new anti-drug efforts, efforts multiplied by their military capacity to hunt criminality.
American Domestic Policy is quickly creating a “Fortress America” attitude that according to Harpers Magazine is held by some 60%+ of the US Electorate.
