The Washington Commanders scored 27 unanswered points to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 on Sunday Night Football, handing Philadelphia its sixth straight loss.
Washington trailed 10-0 early at Northwest Stadium before rallying, according to Fox Sports. The Commanders led 13-10 at halftime and pulled away in the second half.
Philadelphia’s only touchdown came from running back Saquon Barkley on a direct snap, according to the Eagles’ own game recap. Quarterback Tanner McKee threw an interception and lost a fumble in the loss, reported BVM Sports and Fox Sports. Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels threw a touchdown pass to receiver Stefon Diggs.
The Eagles fell to 2-6. Washington improved to 2-4-1. Fox Sports reported that Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts is out for the rest of the season, which is why McKee started.
