The Vegas Golden Knights stay atop the NHL in our week 2 power rankings, ahead of the Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes, after winning eight of their first 10 games. Records are current to the morning of Oct. 19, according to Fox Sports and CBS Sports, and teams have played between six and 10 games.
The order weighs points percentage, goal differential and form over the last 10 games, which covers every game so far for most teams. Records are shown as wins, regulation losses and overtime losses. Our week 1 rankings had Vegas first as well.
