Canadian Market Intelligence reports Canada’s Construction Sector has shrunk by 2-5%. with the promises of massive housing starts made by sector leaders and public officials how is this possible? Simply our Banking system and foreign Investors are pulling back their investments. Capital intensive projects may become a thing of the past.
Canada’s Economy is under threat on so many fronts
Trumpian Tariff Barrage especially directed at Canada but also many other nations.
Forest Fires, prolonged draughts, flood infrastructure and other natural disasters.
A growing unemployment rate, especially within the tech sector and manufacturing.
Citizens enduring having to hold 2-3 jobs to make ends meet. Often acquiring only part time employment.
The Middle Class Employment rolls are dwindling and shrinking while Small and Medium sized firms project prosperity they are actually floating in debt.
The Federal, Provincial and Local/Regional Governments are all over extended financially but still handing out tax payers funds to Corporate welfare cases who promise to locate their factories within these regions. Think EV Batteries, Cars and even Pulp and Paper Mills who create factories, employ many within a community only to close shop and take their financial gains with them in a few years.
Ontario has become a celebrity wonderland where high tech firms are entertained, loan or given funds with no legal come backs should they decide to run off to America. Such firms need to be prosecuted, and the public officials involved in these agreements brought to form. Transparency/Accountability is no where to be found while the Premier promises the average citizen the sun and the moon.
