Toronto’s most expensive home for sale is still the six-acre Bridle Path ravine property asking $48 million, and the city’s five priciest listings have not moved since October. Further down, price changes reshuffled the list and pushed one house out of the top 10.
What changed since October: Compared with our October list, one home is new and one has left. A Tudor-style house on Park Lane Circle asking $16.9 million enters at No. 10. It was already on the market; REW.ca shows it has been posted for 187 days. It replaces a Bayview Ridge chateau that was No. 10 in October and has since cut its asking price by $1 million, to $15,999,900. Two other homes changed price. A Bayview Ridge estate that asked $22.5 million in October now appears as a double-lot listing at $20,998,000, moving from No. 6 to No. 7. A Forest Hill Road home dropped $7,000 to $21,988,000, moving from No. 7 to No. 6, and it is now listed by Harvey Kalles rather than Royal LePage. The other seven asking prices are unchanged.
Borrowing costs are rising around these listings. The Bank of Canada raised its policy rate by a quarter point to 2.5 per cent on Oct. 28, and CREA reported that September home sales fell 7.7 per cent from a year earlier as it cut its 2026 forecast for a third time. One brokerage, RE/MAX Realtron Barry Cohen Homes, now holds seven of these 10 listings, up from six in October. For how Toronto compares with the rest of the country, see our national list.
How we built this list: We ranked detached houses within the City of Toronto by asking price, using active listings on REW.ca checked individually on Nov. 4, 2026. REW.ca draws on MLS data, but a listing that is not posted there would not appear here. Suburban municipalities such as Oakville and Mississauga are not included. We left out condos, land and multi-unit properties, among them a $22.5-million condo on Wellington Street West, an $18.8-million condo in Yorkville, a $26.8-million parcel on Sheppard Avenue West and a $19,999,999 multi-unit property in Long Branch. We make no claim about who owns any of these homes.
