Well, wasn’t that fun? It took almost four hours, but we eventually got through the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft.
There were trades – lots of them, though none that involved NHL players. Surprises from about the third pick on. And hey, this is an entertainment product, so let’s give a shoutout to the setup in Vegas, which made for excellent tv viewing and what I’m sure was an even better live environment.
They certainly gave us a lot to talk about, so let’s look at some of the winners, losers, and big takeaways from the first round of this year’s draft.
