VANCOUVER – Vancouver police have issued an Amber Alert for two-year-old Theodore Lim, who they say is believed to be in imminent danger.
Police say the boy is thought to have been taken by his father Davis Lim from outside the West Coast Family Centre on East Broadway.
They say the boy’s siblings, aged eight and 11 years old, were also with the father and they were last seen running along East Broadway.
Police say Theodore Lim has a medical condition that requires a ventilator, but he is currently without a piece of that equipment and may go into medical distress.
They say the father has access to a black 2010 BMW X5 with B.C. license plate 324 VCH, or he could be travelling in a 2006 blue Volkswagen Jetta with B.C. license plate 325 VCH.
Police have released photos of the man carrying his child along with the ventilator box and a hose that appears to be attached to the boy’s face.
The suspect is five-foot-nine-inches tall with black hair and was seen wearing a green T-shirt with a white logo and black pants and shoes.
Theodore Lim is two feet tall, weighs about 35 pounds and was wearing all grey with black shoes and white soles.
