A good snow brush and ice scraper is a small purchase that gets a lot of use once the first heavy snowfall arrives, and Amazon.ca lists hundreds of them. Five stand out for their review counts and range of prices, from a $17 compact scraper to a 47-inch extendable model for tall SUVs and trucks.

Prices below were accurate as of Oct. 13, 2026, and may change. Star ratings and review counts come from each Amazon.ca listing on the same date.

AstroAI 27-inch 2-in-1 snow brush and ice scraper

This is the most-reviewed snow brush in the category, with 4.3 stars from about 27,400 ratings and more than 500 bought in the past month, according to the listing. It is priced at $16.99 during a limited-time deal, against a list price of $28.99. It suits owners of sedans and compact cars who want something cheap that fits in a door pocket or trunk.

The listing says the tool is 27 inches long with an 8.66-inch brush head and a 4.5-inch scraper. The brush and scraper detach with a push-button buckle, and a storage bag is included.

Reviewers praise its simple, no-fuss design and say it holds up from season to season. The most common criticism is size: some owners of larger SUVs said 27 inches is short for clearing a roof, and a few reported the handle snapped or the bristles shed after limited use.

AstroAI 47.2-inch extendable 360-degree snow brush

For taller vehicles, this longer AstroAI model is the better fit. It carries 4.2 stars from about 7,700 ratings, with more than 300 bought in the past month, and is listed at $36.99.

The handle extends from 36.4 to 47.2 inches, the brush head pivots 360 degrees and locks in position, and the grip is foam. The tool comes apart into three pieces: brush, scraper and handle.

Reviewers like the reach and the pivoting head, and several describe it as a good fit for mid-size SUVs. The most frequent complaint is durability, with a number of buyers saying the brush bent or broke within a season. One reviewer also warned that the scraper can scratch glass and suggested using only the brush on windows.

Snow Joe SnowBroom Go 2-in-1

This one is built for people more concerned about paint than ice. It has a foam head instead of bristles, which the listing describes as non-abrasive and scratch-resistant. It has 4.2 stars from about 10,700 ratings, with more than 200 bought in the past month, and is listed at $29.99.

The foam head measures 18 inches wide, the telescoping handle adjusts from 18 to 23 inches, and a scraper is built in. That makes it compact, but the reach is shorter than the longer brushes here.

Reviewers say it pushes light and wet snow quickly in fewer passes and is gentle on the finish. Some owners described it as flimsy in heavy snow, a few said the foam crumbled after limited use, and some received a handle that would not extend.

JOYTUTUS 41.5-inch extendable snow brush and ice scraper

This mid-priced option adds a squeegee for wiping meltwater and condensation. It has 4.3 stars from about 4,600 ratings and is listed at $32.48, down from $34.19.

The listing describes an ABS and aluminum build, a head that rotates 270 degrees, a telescoping handle, a foam grip and a one-year quality support promise from the seller. The listing also shows 41.5-inch, 47.7-inch and 61.3-inch sizes.

Reviewers who have used it for more than one winter call it sturdy and good value. The most common complaint is that the ice scraper is weak or breaks on thick ice, and a few reported that the brush head did not lock and swivelled during use.

EcoNour 27-inch snow brush and ice scraper

The budget pick is a compact tool that suits a glovebox or trunk. It has 4.1 stars from about 5,100 ratings, more than 200 bought in the past month, and is listed at $17.99.

It has an aluminum body, a foam grip and a 27-inch overall length, and a metal snap separates the brush from the scraper. A 17-inch size also appears in the reviews.

Reviewers like the soft bristles and the compact size, with one saying they keep it as a spare for mornings when snow has built up overnight. The main complaint is the foam grip, which several said twists while sweeping, and a few reported the body snapping after a drop.
