Barbara Palvin walks runway six weeks after giving birth

Model Barbara Palvin returned to the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on Sunday, about six weeks after giving birth to her first child with actor Dylan Sprouse, who watched from the front row.

“I’m going to be six weeks postpartum tomorrow, which is, I think in the U.S., most people have to go back after six weeks,” Palvin, 33, told People magazine backstage. She said walking so soon after giving birth was “not that big of a deal.”

“I think it’s very empowering that the Victoria’s Secret team is having me at the show and we’re supporting women,” the Hungarian-born model said, according to People.

Palvin wore a sheer pink negligee covered in script lettering, and Sprouse blew her a kiss from his seat as she walked, People reported. Several outlets, including USA Today and E! News, highlighted her return as one of the most talked-about moments of the night.

Palvin and Sprouse announced the birth of their daughter, Sylvie, on Sept. 28, though a Labor Day post from the couple suggested she was born several weeks earlier, according to People. Sprouse first shared the baby’s name on his Wildmen podcast. The couple announced the pregnancy in May at the Cannes Film Festival.

Palvin described her first weeks of motherhood as a “roller coaster” and said Sprouse was meant to be a “girl dad,” People reported.

Sprouse, 34, publicly praised his wife after the show, posting that he was proud of her for jumping right back into work after the birth, according to People and other entertainment outlets. The former Disney Channel star, known for The Suite Life of Zack and Cody alongside his twin brother Cole, married Palvin in Hungary in 2023 after several years together.

It is not the first time Palvin has walked the show while recovering. She took part in the 2025 Victoria’s Secret show after surgery for endometriosis, a condition she has spoken about publicly, and walked that year on a foot that was still healing, People reported.

The 2026 show was the first held outside New York in two years, People said. Palvin first walked for Victoria’s Secret in 2012 and became one of the brand’s Angels in 2019.

Her runway return drove more than 10,000 Google searches in Canada over the past day, with related searches for Sprouse and “Dylan Sprouse wife,” according to Google Trends.
