Montreal, October 2026—The Dollard Centre for the Arts (DCA) announces the return of the high-calibre DDO Fine Arts and Crafts Market. For over 40 years, the DDO Fine Arts and Crafts Market has been a must-see event for market enthusiasts. It brings together more than 80 exhibitors from the West Island and Greater Montreal, offering original handmade works for all tastes and budgets, along with delicious food options. The Artists’ Association of Dollard (AAD) also presents its fall exhibition and sale. This is a great opportunity to make exciting discoveries and kick off your holiday shopping in style. Throughout the weekend, various local charities will be supported and hourly raffle winners will be announced. This Market is a vibrant celebration of the remarkable talent and creativity in the West Island, Greater Montreal and surrounding areas. Innovative, original and authentic creations will be on display at this year’s DDO Fine Arts and Crafts Market on Friday, Nov. 6 from 3-7 pm, Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 am-5 pm and Sunday, Nov. 8 from 10 am-4 pm at Galeries des Sources.

After significant flooding that affected the area, and especially the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Centre, the Dollard Centre for the Arts and the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux are proud to announce that the DDO Fine Arts and Crafts Market will be able to take place thanks to an arrangement with Galeries des Sources, which will host the event this year. This means more space for artisans, and a festive atmosphere at this Dollard-des-Ormeaux landmark.
Megan Bradley, special events coordinator at the Dollard Centre for the Arts, says: “We are breathing new life into an old landmark of DDO and creating fresh opportunities for the community to gather and support small local businesses, artists and charities. What an opportunity! This is an exciting new chapter of a well-loved story.”

From Karina Leonard, DCA’s new managing director: “It is a wonderful opportunity for our artisans and artists to come together and showcase their works of art and their creations. Not only does it inspire creativity in our young artists, but it also puts us in the spirit of generosity and community collaboration. Be prepared for a sensory smorgasbord of exciting colours, smells and tastes as you sample all the Market has to offer. I’m also excited about the AAD Fall exhibition and the interactive art activity they are offering. The weekend event promises to be very engaging and not to be missed.”

There is something special for everyone on the shopping list—parents, kids, teachers, friends, spouses, office staff, siblings, team members, and partners. The vast array of attractive booths includes various pottery and ceramic artists, remarkable woodwork, distinctive jewellery including silver, beadwork, glass and pressed foliage, as well as purses, knitwear, pet accessories, candles, upcycled clothing, travel and car accessories, stained glass, photography, kitchen décor, textile art, children’s clothing, body and skin care, stationery and paper goods, paintings, snacks and desserts (especially the famous fudge), floral arrangements, and holiday décor.

The Artists’ Association of Dollard is hosting their fall exhibition. They have been hard at work all year, pouring their passion onto the canvas for the public to appreciate. Artwork will be available for sale, and you can meet the artists in person. Artist Bobby Bennett will lead an interactive art activity open to all.

The Market supports ten charities: the West Island Mission, the Royal Canadian Legion (Dorval), Bri Cares Adoption, Friends for Mental Health, On Rock Community Services, Action Jeunesse de l’Ouest-de-l’Île, West Island Black Community Association, Fondation des artistes, Liam Foundation and Fondation Make-A-Wish Rêves d’enfants Canada. Non-perishable food and gift donations for On Rock Community Services and the West Island Mission will be gratefully accepted.

The DDO Fine Arts and Crafts Market is a family-friendly gathering, so bring the kids for a fun photo scavenger hunt. It’s also a great opportunity to sample delicious food options from the many exhibitors. Following last year’s success with over 70 winners, the raffle is back this year with numerous prizes to be won—spend $10 or more at any exhibitor to enter the draw.

Spend a great day supporting local artists and artisans at this outstanding market.
