
Health Canada has issued a recall for one pet food brand following reports of an E. coli contamination.
Carnivora Fresh Frozen Patties for Dogs and Cats products were recalled on Friday.
According to Health Canada, the contaminated products were sold between January 13 and June 2020.
To date, the company has received four reports of illness after handling the product.
Consumers who have purchased a Carnivora product are being asked to return it to stores.

Health Canada recommends residents always washing your hands, surfaces and utensils thoroughly with soap and water after feeding, handling or cleaning up after your pets.
