WATERLOO — A student living in Clara Conrad Hall residence on Wilfrid Laurier University’s Waterloo campus has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
This person, whose identity will not be shared due to privacy legislation, is in self-isolation.
Public health is managing the case.
This is the second COVID-19 case confirmed at the school’s Waterloo campus this month, following an outbreak on two floors of the Clara Conrad Hall residence in late October.
An announcement from the university says the university will take further actions and provide further updates as necessary.
In the news release, members of the Laurier community are reminded to follow public health guidelines and on-campus safety protocols to protect themselves and others from the spread of the virus.
