The sun shone down on the northern beaches today as residents in the northern zone spent their first day out of COVID-19 lockdown.
For the past three weeks, those living north of the Narrabeen Bridge have been forced to abide by strict stay-at-home orders as health authorities have scrambled to contain a growing coronavirus outbreak.
Nowhere was the feeling of positivity more obvious than at the Mona Vale Farmers Market today.
Fruit grower Erica Power said it was great to be back.
“Our customers are so happy to be out of lockdown and able to come back to the market,” she said.
“It’s beautiful, the sun is out, it’s going to be a lovely day.”
