New BC Lions owner Amar Doman will be at the season-opener Thursday night. He looks like the right man to have in charge at this point in time: he’s local, he loves the CFL, and he knows owning the Lions is not a way to make a lot of money but he believes he can turn things around from a marketing standpoint.
