Bob Rae, Canada’s ambassador to the United Nations, is shepherding a global effort to reach the Sustainable Development Goals, a series of targets to be achieved by 2030 to get the world on track to end extreme poverty, achieve carbon-reduction targets and eradicate the worst preventable diseases.
