Como scored three times in the final 10 minutes Tuesday to beat Torino 3-1 in Serie A, turning a one-goal deficit into a comfortable away win.
Torino led for most of the match. Che Adams scored in the 24th minute from the centre of the box, set up by Kian Fitz-Jim, and the home side held that advantage until late in the second half.
Como’s comeback began in the 81st minute. Jacobo Ramon headed in from the left side of the six-yard box, assisted by Nico Paz with a cross following a corner. Paz then scored himself in the 87th minute, heading in a cross from Yan Couto to put Como ahead.
Martin Baturina sealed the result in the second minute of stoppage time, finishing with his right foot from the centre of the box for the third goal.
Sky Sports and ESPN both list the final score as Torino 1, Como 3. The match kicked off at 3:45 p.m. ET (1:45 p.m. MT) at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
Como’s record is six wins, two draws and a loss from nine games, according to ESPN’s standings, for 20 points. Torino are 4-1-4 on the season.
Como have been one of the stories of the season in Europe. Earlier this month, Como stunned Manchester United 4-1 in the Champions League. On Tuesday, Lazio beat 10-man Sassuolo 6-2 to lead the Serie A table in ESPN’s standings. Elsewhere, Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 in El Clasico on Sunday.
