Ottawa Public Health on Wednesday reported three more deaths due to COVID-19, as well as 207 new cases over the previous seven days.
The new data brought the total number of deaths to 1,136, while 94,917 cases of COVID-19 have been registered since the pandemic began in 2020.
OPH reported there were 77 confirmed patients admitted to Ottawa hospitals due to COVID-19 as of Tuesday, with one patient in intensive care.
A total of 77 other patients with COVID-19 had been admitted for other issues, including two in ICU.
The agency reported 18 new outbreaks in institutional settings, with 37 ongoing outbreaks.
The rate of COVID-19 infection per 100,000 people reported in the previous seven days was 19.8 per cent.
The OPH respiratory and enteric surveillance dashboard showed rising trends in COVID-19, flu and other respiratory viruses in the region as of Nov. 11. The agency reported “very high levels and rising” of COVID-19 and flu in wastewater testing. Levels of RSV were also rising, but in levels similar to those of the previous week.
