If you’re going for Ayaka when Genshin Impact 2.0 hits this week, bringing the Inazuma region with it, we now know what other characters you might scoop up along with her.
Genshin Impact has revealed the contents of the “Heron’s Court” banner which will go live when 2.0 hits on July 21. The rate boosted characters besides Ayaka herself will be:
- Chongyun
- Ningguang
- Yanfei

Yanfei is a fairly recent new 4 star hero that first arrived back at the end of April, and this marks the second time she’s been in a banner. Chongyun is here to I guess give you some sort of cryo hero if you can’t manage to land Ayaka. I doubt he will prove to be consolation for many. Ningguang? Not sure, I guess her and Ayaka are both…classy rich girls?
As a reminder, here are the overall rates for gacha pulls in Genshin Impact, where the odds are deeply not in your favor:
- 5 star – 0.6%
- 4 star – 5.1%
- 3 star – 94.3%
But with pity pulls at:
90 pulls, where you have a 50-50 chance at getting the featured hero. If not in your first pity, your second one will guarantee them. So uh, only 180 pulls to guarantee Ayaka. The low, low price of 28,800 Primogems!
If I had to make predictions, I think that Ayaka is going to prove to be one of the most pulled-for heroes in Genshin Impact’s history. She’s a character that fans have been waiting for quite literally for pretty much the entire duration of the game, as she’s been teased and datamined for ages. She’s the first new 5 star from the first new region and has a killer kit and design. This is going to be a massive windfall for MiHoYo to be sure, and we still have Yoimiya coming up after her.
We already learned about Ayaka’s featured weapon banner, which is the Mistsplitter Reforged, a sword that directly synergizes with her kit, but could also be used on other characters. It will have its own banner alongside Ayaka’s. Here’s what the sword does:
Genshin Impact

“Gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for every element and receive the might of Mistsplitter’s Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, Mistsplitter’s Emblem provides a 8/16/28% Elemental DMG Bonus for the character’s Elemental Type. The character will obtain 1 stack of Mistsplitter’s Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack’s duration is calculated independently.”
Man, they love complicated weapons. But that does look very good, and may be worth going for if Ayaka is the character you’ve been waiting all this time for. More to come later this week.
