How much romantic can you get than the Okanagan’s wineries, lakes and great date locations?
Apparently, a lot more.
Amazon Canada has ranked its most romantic Canadian cities, and Kelowna comes out a middling ninth.
That’s right, ninth. And we’re beaten out by the likes of Fort McMurray, Yellowknife and Grande Prairie.
Before you choke on your merlot, the rankings are based on per capita sales of romance novels, romantic comedies, relationship books, jewelry and sexual wellness products.
That could just mean we’re not as lonely or heartbroken as those others.
Victoria held the top spot for the past seven years, but was trumped by Fort McMurray, which jumped from its number three standing last year.
