All liquor-primary bars and pubs in B.C. have been ordered to close as the number of cases related to the COVID-19 rises.
Restaurants that cannot accomplish social-distancing with customers have also been ordered to shut their doors or move to a take-out/delivery model.

Proivncial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry added that restaurants and cafes that can manage safe distancing – keeping people at least two metres (6.5 feet) apart – can remain open by altering their layouts.
Some restaurants — including White Spot, McDonald’s and Tim Hortons — have closed their dining rooms and moved to take-out menus only.
The B.C. Restaurant and Food Association is advising its members to consider removing tables and spreading tables apart, removing bar seating and regualrly sanitizing high-touch surfaces, pin pads, menus and doors.
On Tuesday, Henry declared a public health emergency, which allows for her and Health Minister Adrian Dix to unveil new measures verbally as needed, without consent from the B.C. Legislature.
