TORONTO (October 6, 2023) – The Canadian Football League (CFL) is now accepting requests for media accreditation for the 110th Grey Cup and the 2023 Grey Cup Festival.
This year’s championship game will be played at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ont., on Sunday, November 19 with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. ET. The 2023 Grey Cup Festival opens on Monday, November 13. All Grey Cup media applications must be submitted by a media outlet’s Sports editor/director via the Grey Cup Accreditation portal prior to the deadline of Friday, October 27 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Individuals awaiting formal internal approval for any reason must adhere to the deadline and apply regardless. If your attendance is based on a particular team competing in the Grey Cup, please indicate this on the application when asked.
New this year, with playoff games on Saturday, Grey Cup Week will begin a day earlier with Grey Cup arrival and teams arriving on Monday in Hamilton. Tuesday will feature head coaches’ conference, State of the League as well as player availability in the afternoon. In addition, Media Day will take place on Wednesday. MEDIA HOTEL
On behalf of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), a block of hotel rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton is available for members of the media. Booking information can be found in the application process for media accreditation.
Please note that reservations by attendees must be received by October 13, 2023.
The FRC Hall of Fame Induction Brunch will be held on November 19 at 9 a.m. ET in the Lancaster Room of the Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton. The event is free to all paid-up FRC members and their guests. Long-time sports journalist Vicki Hall, TSN producer Jon Hynes and the late Chris Schultz are this year’s media inductees. A short FRC meeting will follow the buffet brunch and ensuing ceremony.
