The Poco M4 Pro 5G has three color options – Poco Yellow, Cool Blue, and Power Black. The last one’s actually gray despite what the name might suggest and that’s the one we got for review.
Before we check out the Poco M4 Pro 5G, let’s see what its retail package includes. The smartphone comes bundled with the 33W power adapter, USB-A to USB-C cable, SIM ejector tool, a clear plastic case, some documents, and a bunch of Poco stickers.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G is built around a 6.6″ FullHD+ DotDisplay with 90Hz refresh rate and 450 nits typical brightness. The panel also has a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz and can switch its refresh rate between 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G’s display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and has a punch hole in the center for the 16MP selfie camera, which supports Panorama Selfies.
Moving on to the back, we are greeted with a massive camera island that reminds us of the Mi 11 Ultra. However, unlike the Mi 11 Ultra that features three rear cameras, the Poco M4 Pro 5G comes with two – 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide.
Under the hood, the Poco M4 Pro 5G has the Dimensity 810 SoC, and it runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. Our unit has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage onboard, but you can also pick one in 4GB/64GB trim. And the smartphone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack that’s located at the bottom next to the USB-C port. The smartphone also features dual speakers, IR Blaster, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual 5G standby, and NFC.
Keeping the entire package up and running is a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W Pro fast charging. Poco says the bundled adapter can fill the cell from flat to 100% in 59 minutes. We’ll test that claim ourselves in our review along with other Poco M4 Pro 5G features, but if all this sounds familiar to you, that’s because the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 with a bigger camera island that spans across the smartphone’s width.
The Dell S2721DGF monitor is a fantastic display, and we saw it drop to just $329.99 for Black Friday. However, right now you can get for that same low price, which is $70 off what it normally goes for, with a $50 gift card through the Dell website. That’s an extra $50 in value you can spend on anything at the Dell store. Best Buy was the first place to drop the price, but you can’t get that extra $50 gift card there. The drop to $330 by itself is the lowest price we’ve seen since February, so that’s already a great deal.
The $50 gift card is rewarded to your Dell.com account within 30 days of the monitor shipping. It expires in 90 days, so you’ll want to use it, but we’re sure we’ll see some other great deals at Dell before Christmas anyway. Find some good ideas in Dell’s Cyber Monday deals page that includes everything from laptops to PC accessories.
Dell S2721DGF 27-inch monitor | $70 off + $50 gift card
This is a top notch gaming monitor. It has a native 1440p resolution with a refresh rate up to 165 Hz and a 1ms response time. Has an IPS panel with great viewing angles and colors. Includes two HDMI, one DisplayPort, and a USB 3.0 hub.
The Dell 27-inch screen has specifications that include a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440, a 1ms response time, and a refresh rate that maxes out at 165Hz, which is awesome. You’ll need the right connection for that, but you should still be able to get 144Hz even with HDMI. The 1ms response time is particularly impressive because Dell’s monitor uses an IPS panel. The previous versions of this screen used a TN panel to reach that response time, which meant worse viewing angles and less accurate color. With this generation you get much better specs overall while still maintaining the benefits of the other version.
You can also reduce screen tearing with this monitor thanks to adaptive sync. It has AMD FreeSync by default, which works with your AMD graphics card. It’s also Nvidia G-Sync compatible, which means you can get the same feature if you’re using a Nvidia graphics card. However, in order to get the G-Sync working, you’ll need to be connected to the DisplayPort, which is also how you reach that 165Hz refresh rate.
Other connections besides the DIsplayPort include two HDMI ports that can hit 144Hz and a USB hub that has two USB-A 3.0 ports for connecting other peripherals.

While we don’t advise wearing them while cycling on the road, some people do find they really help with getting through the training kilometres.
AirPods are always top of the list thanks to their connectivity with iPhones, and the standout technology inside them. This is especially true of the AirPods Pro which have some great Black Friday offers this weekend. Amazon revolutionized the e-reader with the Kindle Oasis’ daring design, great page-turn buttons, sharp screen, and giant ebook library. After extensive testing, it’s our pick for the best overall e-reader.
The Kindle Kids Edition was designed for kids to have access to thousands of books to read without distractions like games. It comes with a two-year warranty and a one year free subscription to Amazon Kids+. For $60, you can save 45% on the Kindle Kids Edition from Amazon.
Kindle is Amazon’s collection of tablet-like ebook readers. It’s also an app that lets you read ebooks from your phone or any other type of tablet. Supplementing the devices and app is Kindle Unlimited, a monthly membership that gives you unlimited access to more books than you can count.
As of right now, there are three different Kindle models to choose from. The high-end and full-featured Kindle Oasis, the mid-range Kindle Paperwhite, and the budget-friendly Kindle.
The Oasis is our pick for the best overall e-reader; it’s bright, waterproof, designed with page-turning buttons, and it has the biggest screen. The Kindle Paperwhite is a bit cheaper but still offers a sharp screen, long battery life, and lightweight design. If you want the cheapest Kindle available, the basic model is a solid choice with its long battery life and front light — but it’s not waterproof.
What is Kindle Unlimited?
Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited service grants you access to over a million ebooks for a low monthly fee. It’s a solid investment for avid and adventurous readers. You can even try 30 days free before buying.
