Quebec reported 775 new COVID-19 cases Saturday.
A total of 301,691 infections have been confirmed in the province since the first was reported in February 2020.
Quebec also announced that seven more fatalities had been attributed to the virus, bringing the province’s death toll to 10,594.
The number of hospitalizations due to the virus stands at 505 patients, an increase of one. Of those patients, 99 are in intensive care.
On Friday, Quebec administered 41,338 vaccine doses.
Since the start of its vaccination campaign, the province has received 1,050,355 doses of which it has administered 915,653. That represents about 10.8 per cent of the population.
Health Minister Christian Dubé said on Twitter it marks another daily high for vaccinations and that Quebec wants to continue that trend as it aims to have all adult Quebecers who want a vaccine receive their first dose by June 24.
