Region of Waterloo Public Health has reported a sixth confirmed case of COVID-19 in Waterloo Region.
The patient is listed as a 57-year-old-man who recently returned from a cruise to Puerto Rico.
He was tested at St. Mary’s Hospital and is now self-isolating at home.
Region of Waterloo Public Health officials are confirming that the sixth patient is the spouse of the second reported case.
So far, all patients, except for the third case, are self-isolating at home.
The third case has been hospitalized.
