Substitute Fabio Silva scored late to earn Borussia Dortmund a 2-2 draw at Bayern Munich on Saturday, in a Klassiker that left the Bundesliga’s two unbeaten sides level at the top of the table.
Konrad Laimer put Bayern ahead in the 38th minute at the Allianz Arena. Dortmund had a goal by Jobe Bellingham disallowed shortly before, when VAR ruled that Carney Chukwuemeka impeded goalkeeper Urbig, The Analyst reported.
Serhou Guirassy levelled for Dortmund in the 60th minute. Bayern restored their lead six minutes later when Dayot Upamecano tapped in after Harry Kane headed Kimmich’s cross back across goal, according to ESPN and The Analyst.
Bayern could have been further ahead. They were awarded a penalty in the 56th minute after Felix Nmecha handled Kane’s volley from a corner, but Kane’s spot-kick hit the crossbar. The Analyst said it was his second miss in 27 Bundesliga penalties.
Kane also hit the post later and had another effort ruled offside, The Analyst reported. Kane, who won the 2026 Ballon d’Or last week, had no shot on target.
Silva equalized late in the match, firing past Urbig after Pavlovic went down under a challenge from Karetsas. The Analyst described the contact as soft, and the goal stood.
The Analyst said Bayern and Dortmund remain level at the top of the table, and both are still unbeaten. A match report with updated points totals was not available when this story was published.
Serge Gnabry and Ismael Saibari were substituted for Bayern in the first half, and The Analyst said Michael Olise also limped off late. The reports did not say how serious any of the injuries are.
Dortmund arrived on the back of a 1-0 win over Frankfurt on Oct. 24. Bayern drew 2-2 with Arsenal on Oct. 22 in a match in which Canada’s Alphonso Davies scored.
