Rockets’ Kevin Durant out for Game 1 vs. Lakers

Basketball fans excited to watch LeBron James and Kevin Durant go head-to-head in the playoffs once again will have to wait a little longer.

“Hopefully it’s a one-game thing,” Udoka told reporters.

Durant has been dealing with a knee injury after he collided with a teammate during practice on Thursday, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

It’s a huge blow for the Rockets as the 37-year-old Durant led the Rockets in scoring this season with 26 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are dealing with two key injuries of their own, as both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are out indefinitely.
