When is the Grey Cup in 2026?
The game is on Sunday, Nov. 15. That is two weeks after the division semifinals on Saturday, Oct. 31, and one week after the division finals on Saturday, Nov. 7, according to TSN’s schedule.
The CFL and TSN both list the kickoff at 6 p.m. Eastern. Clocks fall back one hour on Sunday, Nov. 1, in Ontario, Quebec and most other provinces, which is why 6 p.m. Eastern works out to 4 p.m. Mountain and 3 p.m. Pacific on game day. The CFL’s Sept. 3 release gave the Mountain time as 5 p.m., so fans in Alberta should confirm the local start time on their ticket or in TV listings closer to the game. Our guide to the end of daylight saving time on Nov. 1 explains which provinces change their clocks.
Where is the 2026 Grey Cup being played?
McMahon Stadium, home of the Calgary Stampeders, is the host venue. The CFL awarded Calgary the 113th Grey Cup in November 2024. The Stampeders finished their regular season at 9-9 and were waiting on other results to learn whether they would make the playoffs, The Canadian Press reported after their 32-13 win over the B.C. Lions on Oct. 17. Our report on that game explains what Calgary needs.
The Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival runs from Nov. 11 to 15 at Stampede Park, with free and ticketed events, the CFL said. Festival tickets went on sale Sept. 9.
What channel is the Grey Cup on?
In Canada, the game airs on TSN and CTV in English and RDS in French, and streams on Crave, the CFL said. In the United States it is on CBS Sports Network. Viewers in other countries can watch on CFL+, the league’s free livestreaming platform.
Every playoff game before the final is also on TSN, the network said. The Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show is broadcast live as part of the game. The CFL’s Sept. 3 release did not name a performer.
Who is playing in the Grey Cup 2026?
That will not be known until the division finals end on Nov. 7. The winner of the East Division final meets the winner of the West Division final.
In the East, the Montreal Alouettes (13-4) clinched first place and host the Eastern Final at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium on Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. ET. The Toronto Argonauts (9-8) clinched a playoff berth and host the Eastern Semi-Final at BMO Field on Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. ET. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (5-12) and Ottawa Redblacks (1-16) are out.
In the West, the Edmonton Elks (13-4) clinched first place and host the Western Final at Commonwealth Stadium on Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. ET. The B.C. Lions (10-7) and Saskatchewan Roughriders (9-8) have clinched playoff spots, and the Western Semi-Final is Oct. 31 at 4:30 p.m. ET. Our story on Edmonton ending its playoff drought covers the Elks’ season.
Because Hamilton finished with far fewer points than the fourth-place team in the West, TSN’s schedule shows Toronto hosting a crossover team from the West Division in the Eastern Semi-Final. Calgary (9-9, 18 points, season finished) and Winnipeg (8-9, 16 points, one game left) are the teams still in that race, according to the CFL standings.
How do the 2026 CFL playoffs work?
This is the last season under the current format; the CFL says a revamped playoff format with play-in games begins in 2027. In 2026, six teams make the playoffs. The two division winners get a bye to the division finals. The second- and third-place teams in each division meet in the semifinals, with the second-place team at home, unless the fourth-place team in one division has more points than the third-place team in the other, in which case it crosses over and takes that spot. The semifinal winners then play the division winners, and the two division champions meet in the Grey Cup.
| Date | Game | Kickoff (ET) |
|---|---|---|
| Sat., Oct. 31 | Eastern Semi-Final at Toronto | 1 p.m. |
| Sat., Oct. 31 | Western Semi-Final | 4:30 p.m. |
| Sat., Nov. 7 | Eastern Final at Montreal | 3 p.m. |
| Sat., Nov. 7 | Western Final at Edmonton | 6:30 p.m. |
| Sun., Nov. 15 | 113th Grey Cup at Calgary | 6 p.m. |
The schedule comes from TSN. Host sites for the semifinals depend on the last regular-season games on Oct. 24.
Who won the Grey Cup last year?
The Saskatchewan Roughriders won the 112th Grey Cup 25-17 over the Montreal Alouettes on Nov. 16, 2025, at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, CP24 reported. It was Saskatchewan’s first title since 2013. Quarterback Trevor Harris was named the game’s most valuable player.
Can I still buy Grey Cup tickets?
The CFL said in September that a limited number of Grey Cup tickets remained through Ticketmaster, the league’s official ticketing partner. Buying through the official seller protects you from counterfeit tickets. Prices and availability change as the matchup becomes known, so check the CFL or Ticketmaster rather than resale listings on social media.
What else happens at this year’s Grey Cup?
The league will salute the Snowbirds, the Royal Canadian Air Force’s 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, on game day, the CFL said. The squadron, based in Moose Jaw, Sask., has flown the CT-114 Tutor since 1971, and the Tutor fleet retires after the 2026 season. The Snowbirds also performed at the 101st, 106th and 109th Grey Cups.
Off the field, Edmonton’s Darien Newell was suspended for nine games this week for a doping violation, which our earlier story explains. We will update this guide when the semifinal matchups and the two Grey Cup teams are set.
