Long nights and dry heated air make a heavy, snug blanket a popular winter buy in Canada. Weighted blankets are filled with glass beads or similar material so they press gently on the body. Amazon.ca lists thousands of them, with prices from about $40 to well over $100. Here are five that stand out on listed ratings, review counts and price. Prices were checked on Nov. 3, 2026, and may change.

A note before you buy: sellers generally size weight to the sleeper’s body weight, and the listings below say which weight suits which person. Check the size chart on each listing. Weighted blankets are not meant for infants or small children, so read the manufacturer’s safety guidance first.

How we chose

We started from Amazon.ca search results for adult weighted blankets on Nov. 3, 2026 and favoured listings with at least a few hundred ratings and a rating of 4.4 or higher, covering plush, cotton, cooling, budget and lap options. We looked at listing details, prices and ratings; we have not tested any of these blankets. Sponsored placements were not treated as picks. Prices and deals change often.
