
The local health department reported eight new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday morning.
There have been 1,218 cases since late February.
Resolved cases are now at 1,006, meaning there are currently 93 active cases, which is four more than there were on Monday.
Meantime, the region is down to one active outbreak at a workplace (retail), as one has been declared over at a a food processor in the area.
Forest Heights Revera is still the only long-term care or retirement home dealing with an outbreak, which has been active since April 1.
51 residents at Forest Heights have passed away.
No additional deaths have been linked to the virus since June 3, the local death toll remains at 115.
