Tennocon 2020 showcased the upcoming Heart of Deimos update and other concepts in Warframe.
As Digital Extremes is winding down with their fifth Tennocon from home, the hype is anything but winding down. It may not be as grand, interactive, and fan-oriented as it was in previous years with gaming setups and the niceties of an in-person convention. What this is more about is delivering something “from the heart.”
As COVID-19 basically put the world and many operations to a halt, the folks at Digital Extremes had to make do with the fact that they couldn’t utilize their studio for the more ambitious projects they were working on. Over time, we did get new updates on the status of the previously mentioned expansions such as The New War and Duviri Paradox, but it’s best to put that on hold until the world goes back to normal. We don’t want another launch day Railjack fiasco.

The event consisted of five events, spanning from the art panel, the community art show, a sound design panel, an interactive trivia segment, the TennoLive digital presentation, and an after-show Summer Game Fest interview with Geoff Keighley.
While there wasn’t a physical convention to attend, Digital Extremes adapted well with trying to incorporate fan interaction via the community art show and trivia segment. While art is constantly submitted and showcased in every Home Time and Prime Time streams, this showed more than fan art. Fans submitted their own Warframe-inspired musical creations, props, and cosplay costumes. This segment was co-hosted by Miabyte.
