The NHL and Fanatics unveiled Hometown Remix jerseys for all 32 teams on Monday, each themed around its city. They run for this season only, ESPN reported, with 261 games featuring one and 19 games with both teams wearing them. Florida, Chicago and San Jose were among the first to wear theirs Monday night.
It is the NHL’s first league-wide special jersey series since Reverse Retro in 2022-23. Jerseys are on sale at NHLShop.ca, NHLShop.com and through Fanatics. Photos below are the teams’ own posts, embedded from X; we could not find a jersey post to embed for Boston, Dallas, the Rangers and Washington, and the Anaheim and Vegas posts may not show the full jersey. See our closer look at the seven Canadian teams.
Anaheim Ducks
Kelly green with purple sleeves and purple-and-gold stripes, a colour mix that recalls the Mighty Ducks era. The hem reads “Orange Country.” Ten games, all at home, from Nov. 8 against Pittsburgh.
Boston Bruins
All brown, the colour Boston wore from 1924 into the 1930s, styled like a varsity jacket as a nod to the college town. Bruins is arched in gold across the chest, and a brick pattern inside the hem salutes the Freedom Trail.
Buffalo Sabres
Royal blue with the 1990s goathead logo recoloured in blue and gold. Lightning bolts in the white stripes refer to Buffalo’s City of Light nickname. Eight games, from Nov. 4 against Ottawa.
Calgary Flames
Red, with a gold flaming C textured like the Saddledome ceiling, in the arena’s last season. Hem stitching reads 1983 and 2027. Nine games, all at home, from Nov. 6 against Anaheim.
Carolina Hurricanes
Storm grey with mascot Stormy the hog on the chest, in a bucket hat, tee, shorts and sneakers. Oak leaves on the sleeves and a skyline on the hem point to Raleigh, the City of Oaks.
Chicago Blackhawks
Vivid green with a chain-stitched primary logo and four-leaf clovers on the shoulder patches. Sleeve stars come from the Chicago flag, and the hem carries the city motto “I Will.”
Colorado Avalanche
White with a large C in the style of the Colorado flag, filled with a mountain-elevation pattern in blues. Silver trim gives it a frosted look. Six games, from Nov. 7 against Detroit.
Columbus Blue Jackets
Grey, with the club’s goal cannon across the chest. Arched sleeve designs refer to Columbus’s Arch City nickname, and the captain’s patches take the shape of Ohio.
Dallas Stars
White with the star crest in black and neon green, cut with lines like a lit sign. The sleeve pattern recalls Reunion Tower and the skyline at night.
Detroit Red Wings
Classic red with Hockeytown arched above the winged wheel and copper eyelets on a lace-up collar. A purple octopus pattern inside the hem honours the octopus-tossing tradition.
Edmonton Oilers
Black with a tonal crest, orange accents and an oil-splatter texture. Patches read Oil Country and show the 1990s oil rig worker. Seven games, from Nov. 5 against Anaheim.
Florida Panthers
“Sunrise coral,” or pink, inspired by beach T-shirts, with a palm tree and hockey stick crest from a 1990s alternate logo. Ten games, all at home, debuting Monday against Detroit.
Los Angeles Kings
Purple and gold for the franchise’s 60th season, joining the Gretzky-era chevron crest with original 1967 colours. Six diamonds in the hem mark six decades.
Minnesota Wild
Black with the animal crest turned into a night scene under a crescent moon. The sleeves carry the Ursa Major and Ursa Minor constellations, and the numbers have twin stars for the Twin Cities.
Montreal Canadiens
White with an etched C-H crest and a red gradient inspired by Mount Royal. Sleeves show the five symbols of Montreal’s flag. Ten games, from Nov. 3 against Winnipeg.
Nashville Predators
Navy with a faint pinstripe and a gold crest in ornate embroidery, borrowed from country music stage wear. Ten games, from Nov. 7 against St. Louis.
New Jersey Devils
Black with an enlarged red NJ monogram freed from its circle, and sharp, angled sleeve stripes. Ten games, from Nov. 18 against Montreal.
New York Islanders
White with a modernized version of the 1990s Fisherman crest and lighthouse shoulder patches. Eleven games, from Nov. 5 against Carolina.
New York Rangers
Navy, with New York replacing Rangers across the chest and the 1990s Lady Liberty logo as a patch over the heart. A captain’s patch honours first responders.
Ottawa Senators
Black and gold, with the centurion crest in brushed metallic gold and a Gothic pattern on the sleeves. English and French S logos sit on the shoulders.
Philadelphia Flyers
Dark steel grey built around the Liberty Bell, with six orange stripes for the club’s 60th anniversary and numbers with crack-style detail. Eleven games, from Nov. 3 against Minnesota.
Pittsburgh Penguins
Navy with the skating penguin in 1960s screen-print style and light blue from the team’s early years, in what SportsLogos.Net read as an Andy Warhol tribute. Ten games, from Nov. 3 against Vegas.
San Jose Sharks
Bright teal with the SJ logo in white and silver. Sleeve stripes are shaped like rows of shark teeth, with a thin line of pink for the gums.
Seattle Kraken
Black, with the anchor and Space Needle logo in bone white, etched in the style of scrimshaw, the sailors’ folk art. Sleeves show Mount Rainier.
St. Louis Blues
Black for the Mississippi River at night, with a Gateway Arch roundel and metallic silver stripes. Ten games, from Nov. 17 against Anaheim.
Tampa Bay Lightning
Black with the Stadium Series skull as the crest and sky blue stripes. The hem shows the Bayshore Boulevard balustrade.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Cream with a navy version of the original leaf, marking 100 years of the Maple Leafs name. Five themed nights, from Nov. 8 against New Jersey.
Utah Mammoth
Mountain blue with the U-Tusk logo on the chest. Sleeve stripes are shaped so that the outline forms rising tusks, and the Wasatch range sits inside the hem.
Vancouver Canucks
Deep navy with a tonal orca, a silver eye and an abstract skyline on the sleeves. Six games, from Nov. 13 against the Rangers.
Vegas Golden Knights
Black with a gold shield in a jade frame. The shoulders mimic casino felt, the sleeves a roulette wheel, and the numbers are inspired by playing cards.
Washington Capitals
Steel blue with the Capitol dome logo from the early 2000s and a marble texture from the city’s monuments. Cherry blossoms inside the hem surround a dedication to the DMV.
Winnipeg Jets
Dark navy with a logo that glows like the northern lights and an aurora gradient on the sleeves. Hem reads Manitoba. Eight games, all at home, from Nov. 17 against Ottawa.
