All seven Canadian NHL teams now have a Hometown Remix jersey, unveiled Monday by the league and Fanatics, with designs built around oil country, the Saddledome, Old Montreal, Gothic Ottawa, a century of the Maple Leafs name, Vancouver at night and Manitoba’s northern lights.
The Canadiens go first, wearing theirs Tuesday when they host the Jets at the Bell Centre. The program runs for this season only, ESPN reported, with 261 games across the league featuring a Remix uniform. Jerseys went on sale Monday at NHLShop.ca, Fanatics and team stores. The photos below are the teams’ own posts, embedded from X. Here is our guide to all 32 jerseys.
Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens picked white, with the C-H crest redrawn in white and a red outline, its etching meant to suggest the city’s stonework. A red gradient inspired by Mount Royal rises up the sides. The sleeves carry five symbols from Montreal’s flag: a white pine, fleur-de-lis, rose, thistle and clover, representing Indigenous, French, English, Scottish and Irish roots. Montreal wears it 10 times, eight at home, beginning Nov. 3 against Winnipeg.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto’s jersey marks 100 years of the Maple Leafs name, adopted in February 1927. It has a cream base and a navy version of the original many-pointed leaf above an arched Toronto wordmark. Inside the hem, “Toronto Forever” sits with a timeline of past leaf logos. The Leafs replaced an announced nine-game plan with five themed nights: Nov. 8 against New Jersey, Nov. 19 against Los Angeles, Nov. 30 against Philadelphia, Dec. 19 against Tampa Bay and Feb. 16 against Carolina, SportsLogos.Net reported.
Ottawa Senators
The Senators went black and gold, with their centurion crest in a brushed metallic gold fabric and a black-on-black sleeve pattern drawn from the capital’s Gothic architecture. Shoulder patches carry English and French versions of the S logo, and the bridges to Gatineau frame the Ottawa wordmark inside the hem. Numbers borrow the shape of Gothic arched windows.
Winnipeg Jets
Winnipeg’s dark navy jersey is built on the aurora borealis. The team’s round logo glows in blues and greens, the lower sleeves fade through the same colours, and a full aurora scene sits inside the hem, labelled Manitoba rather than Winnipeg. The Jets wear it eight times, all at home, beginning Nov. 17 against Ottawa.
Calgary Flames
Calgary’s red jersey is a goodbye to the Scotiabank Saddledome, which is in its final season. The flaming C is a textured gold echoing the arena’s ceiling, sleeve bands copy the shape of its windows and hem striping follows the famous roofline. Inside the hem are 1983 and 2027, the years the building opened and is due to close. The Flames wear it nine times, all at home, starting Nov. 6 against Anaheim.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers’ black jersey has a tonal crest with only the wordmark outline and oil drop in orange, and a splatter texture across the shoulders. Shoulder patches read Oil Country and bring back the 1990s oil rig worker logo, while warning bars inside the hem frame “This is Oil Country.” Edmonton wears it seven times, starting Nov. 5 against Anaheim at Rogers Place. We covered the Alberta teams’ launch here.
Vancouver Canucks
Vancouver’s deep navy jersey shows the city after dark. The orca logo is rendered tonally, so a silver eye and bright blue outline stand out, and a light shimmer is meant to suggest city lights on the water. Sleeve bands carry an abstract skyline reflected in the bay, and the hem honours the lions of the Lions Gate Bridge. The Canucks wear it six times, starting Nov. 13 against the New York Rangers at Rogers Arena.
