Blair Road Boat Launch Opening Delayed until May 31, 2024 – NCC-CCN

The full re-opening of the Blair Road boat launch and parking lot will be delayed until Friday, May 31, 2024, for the installation of NCC River House floating docks and setup the swimming area for the season (furniture installation, testing requirements, cleaning river debris and lifeguard training).

  • Schedule: Closed weekdays until Friday, May 31, 2024. On weekends, the Blair Road boat launch will be open to the public from 6 pm on Fridays starting May 3, 2024, to 8 am on Mondays, ending May 27, 2024.
  • Location: Blair Road boat launch
  • Impact on motorists: Vehicle and boat access to the Blair Road boat launch will be unavailable.
  • Impact on pedestrians and cyclists: There may be temporary delays on the Ottawa River Pathway while equipment is being moved.
