“We expect our customers to follow the law and we continue to have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse of any kind towards our employees. Ferries president and CEO Mark Collins said in a statement.
On larger vessels, customers will still be able to remain in their vehicles on upper vehicle decks, which aren’t enclosed.
Passengers will still be able to remain below deck on vessels that sail between Langdale and Horseshoe Bay, due to vehicle deck modifications that were completed on those ships.
The company is also reopening certain seating areas on the vessels, such as the Pacific Buffet on its Spirit Class vessels, to provide passengers more space for physical distancing. Buffet food service isn’t being reintroduced at this time.
