VCH warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at Vancouver nightclub
Vancouver Coastal Health warns of a possible COVID-19 exposure at a downtown Vancouver nightclub.
The exposure occurred at Cabana Lounge at 1163 Granville Street from July 1 to 4 during operating hours.
The potential exposure risk at the club is believed to be low, but the health authority is asking anyone who was at the club during the specified date to self-monitor for symptoms.
B.C. nightclubs were allowed to open earlier this month as part of Step 3 in the province’s reopening club. They can operate similarly to restaurants, with no group-size limits at tables. However, dancing is not yet permitted.
