The right-hander will be sidelined from the 2026 All-Star Game as he receives treatment for irritation in his knee, the Dodgers announced Friday.
Additionally, Ohtani will miss Friday’s scheduled start against the Diamondbacks. He will continue to serve as designated hitter for the remainder of the series, but he will “have some interventions on his knee” during the all-star break “to put him in the best position for the second half of the season,” the Dodgers said in a statement.
