New DFD Leadership Roster and Media Contact
Detroit Interim Executive Fire Commissioner Chuck Simms is happy to introduce his new leadership team, as well as a new Public Information Officer for the department.
Chief of Community Relations James C. Harris has assumed the role of Public Information Officer and will act as a liaison between the department and the media. Media can reach him anytime at 313.573.4668.
The roster is as follows:
– Deputy Fire Commissioner Robert Distelrath
– 2nd Deputy Commissioner Reginald Jenkins
– 2nd Deputy Commissioner Derek Hillman
– 2nd Deputy Commissioner Robert Stokes
– Director of Fleet Management and Facilities David Fornell
