
A new set of guidelines and recommendations hopes to target and better manage high-risk drinking disorders. It was published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal on Monday, and the authors warn patients that a common practice to prescribe anti-depressants could induce future cravings for booze. But in order for these 15 recommendations to properly address this crucial gap, it all comes down to the overall message the doctor is sending.
