Michael Kaufmann will share personal stories that explore forgiveness not as an abstract idea, but as a lived and often complex experience. Through themes of mental health, addiction, trauma, grief, and family dynamics, the evening will offer an honest and nuanced look at what it means to forgive—whether that be others, oneself, or the past. Stories We Carry is an intimate and meaningful conversation about finding forgiveness when it feels out of reach—and discovering the freedom that can come with it. Tabitha Rose, Founder and Publisher of Life to Paper Publishing, is dedicated to helping individuals share powerful, life-changing stories—guided by the mission “to write a better future.” The Life to Paper Foundation extends this work by bringing storytelling and writing programs into mental health and recovery communities, supporting individuals in accessing the therapeutic power of their own stories. This event is presented in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. *** Books will be available for purchase at the event.
