
There are 14 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths in the city, OPH reports.
According to the latest numbers released Wednesday, the brings Ottawa’s total number of cases to 1,922 and total deaths to 238.
That’s less than a one per cent increase in cases since Tuesday, and about a 1.3 per cent increase in deaths.
The number of patients that remain in hospital with COVID-19 are 38.
There continues be 19 ongoing outbreaks in institutions.
Healthcare workers and first responders account for 27 per cent — or 526 — of the cases reported in the city.
The majority of the cases are in women (60 per cent) and include the age group 50 to 59 (14 per cent).
As for deaths, 126 were females and 112 cases were male and the majority included people over 90 years of age (45 per cent)
Almost 80 per cent of cases have been resolved, which account for 1,524 people.
