
Algoma Public Health is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 today, all from the Sault and area.
This brings the number of active cases in the region to 21.
Four of the cases were close contacts of another positive case, while two have unknown exposure.
All six are currently self-isolating, according to the health unit.
There have now been 247 confirmed cases of the virus in the Algoma region, and four deaths. There is currently one person hospitalized with COVID-19 in the area.
