Report: Two stones stolen from Paralympic curling venue

Curling controversy has returned for the Paralympics before a single shot has even been thrown.

“The authorities are currently investigating the theft,” a spokesperson said.

There are no details yet on how a pair of 42-pound rocks, which had not been used during Olympic competition, were removed from the Paralympic venue.

Spare stones are set to be used without any interference to the competition, which begins with wheelchair mixed doubles on Wednesday.
