Lego is turning Daft Punk’s famous Alive 2007 pyramid stage into an official set. The toy maker announced a partnership with the French electronic duo on Oct. 22 and said a fan-designed Lego Ideas model of the concert stage has been approved for development, Jay’s Brick Blog and The Gadgeteer reported.
No price, release date or final design has been announced. Lego said more is to come in 2027, according to Jay’s Brick Blog, which quoted the company’s announcement describing it as a “brand new partnership” that will also bring the duo to Lego through events and content.
The set is based on a Lego Ideas submission by fan builder Patrick Harboun. The Gadgeteer said his roughly 2,000-piece model recreates the pyramid from the Alive 2007 tour, with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo at their console, and includes a motorized, lit box of transparent bricks. Whether the motor and lights make it into the retail version has not been confirmed.
Lego Ideas lets fans submit designs, and projects that reach 10,000 supporters go to a company review. Jay’s Brick Blog said this one had sat in the program’s “parking lot,” a holding stage for ideas still under consideration, since October 2025 before it was approved.
Daft Punk announced its breakup in February 2021 after 28 years. The Alive 2007 tour, with the duo performing inside a lit pyramid, is still remembered as one of electronic music’s landmark live shows.
