Our picks
No. 1, best for bright rooms and big screens: Samsung 65-inch The Frame Pro (QN65LS03HWFXZC). This is the one to look at if the TV is the centrepiece of a living room with a lot of window light. Samsung’s listing describes a Neo QLED Mini LED panel with a refresh rate up to 144 Hz, Neo Quantum HDR, Dolby Atmos and a glare-free screen that cuts reflections from lamps and sunlight. The TV connects to a separate Wireless One Connect box that can sit up to 10 metres away, so the only cable at the screen is power. A Slim Fit wall mount, a solar-charged remote and a height-adjustable stand are part of the package. Magnetic bezels in several finishes, including teak, white wood and sand gold, are sold as extras or in bundles.
Owners on Amazon.ca are positive about the picture and the look. One reviewer who put the 55-inch in a condo said the anti-glare screen is a good match for a bright space, and a longer review praised how the glare turns into soft light instead of a mirror-like reflection. Reviewers also liked how realistic Art Mode looks from across the room. The listing carries 4.6 out of 5 from only 8 ratings, so treat the score as early. Amazon.ca also shows 50 or more bought in the past month.
The complaints are specific. One 3-star reviewer of the 65-inch wrote that there is only one micro HDMI connection on the screen and no wired link between the box and the TV, so the box has to sit within about 10 feet of the screen and in the open to get the full 144 Hz picture. Others say the built-in audio is thin because the set is so slim, that setup pushes you toward the SmartThings app and a Samsung account, that the home screen carries ads and a Samsung TV Plus app that cannot be removed, and that the Art Store content after the trial is a subscription. Several mention the weight: Amazon lists 33.1 kg, and reviewers say it takes two people to lift.

No. 2, best for smaller rooms and tighter budgets: Samsung 50-inch The Frame (QN50LS03FAFXZC, 2025). The previous-generation Frame is the cheaper way into the same idea. The listing shows $999.99, down from $1,098, with Amazon.ca as the seller. It has a 4K display, a matte glare-free screen, Art Mode, the AI Gen 2 processor, a wall mount in the box and a One Connect box for cables. It measures 112.4 by 64.5 cm, which suits a bedroom, an office or a smaller living room. The rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 47 ratings.
The trade-off is hardware: this model does not list the 144 Hz Mini LED panel of the Frame Pro, and Samsung’s own comparison chart on the Frame Pro listing describes the older edge-lit design with two speakers, against four on the Pro. Gamers and people who watch a lot of fast sport in daylight will notice the difference on paper. People who mostly want a good-looking screen for streaming and for art will care less.

How we chose. We searched Amazon.ca for Samsung’s Frame range on Oct. 29, 2026 and opened each listing. We kept only models sold and shipped by Amazon.ca. The 75-inch Frame (LS03HE) and the 65-inch S90H OLED were listed under third-party sellers, so we do not link them. We read the specifications, the manufacturer’s comparison table and the first page of Canadian owner reviews. We did not test any of these TVs.
Is the Samsung Frame Pro worth it?
It depends on what you are paying for. At $2,198 the 65-inch Frame Pro costs more than Samsung’s own plain Mini LED sets. The same Amazon.ca page shows Samsung’s 65-inch M70H Mini LED at $798. What the Frame Pro adds is the matte glare-free finish, the art function, the thin design with a cable-free screen and the changeable bezels. If the TV sits in a bright room, and you care how it looks when it is off, those features are the point. If you mainly want the best picture for movies in a dark room, a TV with self-lit pixels is a better match, and Samsung’s own comparison table lists its S90H OLED with 165 Hz and four HDMI 2.1 ports at $2,398. Our LG C6 OLED guide covers another route.

What will the sound be like, and do I need a soundbar?
Owners repeatedly say the audio is the weak spot of such a thin set, and one reviewer who liked the sound said a soundbar would still improve it. Samsung sells the TV in bundles with its S60D, S61D, S800D and S801D soundbars, and Q-Symphony lets a compatible Samsung soundbar work with the TV speakers. If you would rather pick your own, our Sonos Arc Ultra guide looks at a premium option. Budget for it before you decide.
Who should skip it
The Frame Pro suits people who treat the TV as part of the room, who watch in daylight and who will mount it on a wall. It is a poor fit if you want to connect several consoles, a receiver and a streamer directly to the screen, because the inputs live on the One Connect box and the screen has one micro HDMI port. It is also a poor fit for anyone who dislikes manufacturer ads on the home screen or does not want to create a Samsung account. A weight of about 33 kg means it is a two-person job to hang.

When is the best time to buy a TV in Canada?
TV prices in Canada tend to fall around Black Friday (Nov. 27 this year), Boxing Day and the Super Bowl run-up, and last-generation models often drop first. Amazon.ca already shows 21 per cent off the 65-inch Frame Pro on a deal that listed about 16 hours left when we checked, so the price may be different when you read this. We cannot predict future discounts. Check the price on the day, and compare it against the “was” price shown on the listing.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Samsung Frame Pro have a matte screen?
Yes. Amazon.ca lists the Frame Pro with a glare-free display, and Canadian owners describe reflections turning into soft light. Samsung markets the screen as matte for both art and regular viewing.
How much does a 65-inch Samsung Frame cost in Canada?
The 65-inch Frame Pro was $2,198 on Amazon.ca on Oct. 29, 2026, down from a listed $2,798. The 55-inch was $1,798 and the 50-inch 2025 Frame was $999.99.
Can I use my own photos in Art Mode?
Owners say yes. You can upload your own artwork or photos through the SmartThings app or from a USB drive on the One Connect box. Samsung’s Art Store streams are described as free, but a reviewer says the wider library needs a subscription after a trial.
Is the Frame Pro good for gaming?
The listing advertises up to 144 Hz and VRR support at 4K. One owner reported the TV negotiated 4K at 144 Hz from a PC. The catch is that the hardware connects through the One Connect box, and a reviewer cautions about its placement.
What is the difference between the Frame and the Frame Pro?
On Samsung’s own comparison chart, the Frame Pro uses Mini LED with an NQ4 AI Gen3 processor and four speakers, while the standard Frame uses an edge-lit LED panel with the Gen2 processor and two speakers.
