Village Media is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Digital Media Specialist to join our growing team to help achieve our digital marketing goals.
The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for coordinating all paid search and social campaigns for Village Media’s network of local news and information sites, including keyword research, campaign building, tracking, optimization and reporting.
The successful candidate will have experience creating, monitoring and optimizing paid search and social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is also an exceptional multitasker who can manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategize, execute, measure and optimize a variety of paid search and social campaigns
- Execute tests and identify insights in order to optimize campaign performance
- Support the development of social campaigns with creative suggestions and effective copy
- Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Manage campaign budgets and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Deliver regular and detailed campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Perform other duties and projects as directed by senior management
Qualifications
- Experience with paid advertising platforms (including Google Ad tools) and paid social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter)
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics), data analysis and reporting
- Solid understanding of social media best practices and search engine optimization
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
