The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County is seeking submissions for an art show celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
The show is open to artworks that raise awareness and appreciation and depict the natural beauty of the Earth’s environment. Up to five works per artist may be entered. Entries can be dropped off from 2:30 to 6 p.m. March 21 and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 22 at Art on Park, 180 N. Park Ave., Warren. There is no entry fee, and all works will be accepted, space permitting, as long as they fit the theme.
An opening reception for the show is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. April 4.
Harry Miller is a writer and editor based in Toronto who has Ten years of experience in the journalism industry. Before coming to Canada News Media as a National Online Journalist, Miller worked as a senior writer and a reporter-editor with the Canadian Press and a breaking news reporter with the Toronto Star. Miller currently holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in journalism from Ryerson University and another in communications and film studies from Carleton University.
