The Philadelphia Eagles‘ surprising decision to bench quarterback Jalen Hurts for Nate Sudfeld while down just three points early in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team didn’t sit well with players from the New York Giants, who needed an Eagles win to clinch a playoff berth.
Several Giants players reacted on social media as Sudfeld entered the game. He ultimately threw an interception and fumbled the snap in his first two drives.
