
SYDNEY, N.S. — The Nova Scotia Health primary care mobile clinic will be in Sydney on Wednesday.
Running from 5-9 p.m. at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, in the ambulatory care clinic, patients needing non-urgent or emergency care are encouraged to book appointments if they are unable to see their family physician or are currently without a doctor.
The primary care mobile clinic can help patients with concerns such as:
• Prescription refills or renewals (except for controlled substances)
• Minor respiratory symptoms
• Sore throat
• Earaches
• Fever
• Headache
• Rashes
• Minor gastrointestinal concerns (vomiting and diarrhea)
• Cough, flu, or cold symptoms
• Urinary tract infections
• Muscle pain
This is not a drop-in clinic and appointments are needed. Appointments can be made by calling 902-574-3275 on the day of the clinic. Phone lines open at 3:30 p.m.
Diagnostic imaging and lab referrals aren’t a part of this clinic.
